Aviation Technology
The Department of Aviation Technologies offers program leading to a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Technologies:
  Aviation Technologies (B.S.)
The programs of the Department are ranked among the best in the country and were developed with input form industry representatives and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to provide the required skills and broad educational experience necessary in today's competitive environment.
Whether general aviation aircraft or transport, modern aircraft require highly-trained technicians to troubleshoot systems and maintain airframe structures and powerplants. Optional paths within the major provide a great deal of flexibility in preparing for a career in the aviation industry. Students may qualify for the FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant certificates only, or in conjunction with a degree program, or may forgo certification entirely to concentrate on a particular area of interest. Aviation Technologies carries examining authority and has designated FAA examiners on staff to administer tests for certification. The University is fully accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges.
