Under the guidance of Dr. Charley Rodriguez, faculty advisor for Rotor and Wing Association of America (RWAA), AvTech Rotor & Winger’s hosted several AirAdventure Camps for those belonging to area Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops. Held at the Department of Aviation Technologies facility, these camps are intended to introduce local youngsters to aviation and expose them to the excitement associated with flight and aircraft. Unlike similar opportunities offered by other departments, AirAdventure is free to any and all participants.
